Very pretty shot and composition Yves. The pose really does display his beauty. He does sit very nicely against the quiet tones like Heather mentioned. It will be spring before you know it.

Thank you Debra. I really appreciate your nice comments. I am getting old and I feel winter is always longer than the previous one.

Heather Mellon

Terrific capture of this very handsome bird, Yves. His markings stand out so beautifully here against the quiet tones that surround him.

Thanks Heather. I was very lucky on the shooting conditions on that day of april. Bushes were just starting to produce their leaves and the sky was covered with a thin layer of white clouds. A kind of lighting I really appreciate in birds photography.
